About TableSharp
TableSharp is a casino-strategy training app. We don't take bets and we don't pretend the math is anything other than what it is: even with perfect basic strategy, the house keeps a small edge in every game except a handful of specific positive-EV setups (full-pay video poker, table games at heavy positive counts, +EV bonus play). The point of TableSharp is to turn correct strategy into muscle memory so you stop bleeding edge to mistakes.
Why this exists
Most casino-strategy resources are split between two camps. One camp is gambler-forum nostalgia — wrong math wrapped in old stories. The other is dense academic books that no one finishes. We wanted a third thing: a live, interactive trainer that quizzes you on real decisions, shows the EV math behind each one, and tracks where you're bleeding money so you can drill exactly that.
What you get
- Trainers for nine games:blackjack, card counting, craps, video poker, roulette, baccarat, Texas Hold'em, Spanish 21, Free Bet. Every decision graded against optimal play under your specific table rules.
- 37-lesson curriculumfrom “what is basic strategy” through Illustrious 18 deviations and bet-spread theory.
- Live counting companion for Hi-Lo, KO, Omega II, Zen, and Wong Halves — running count, true count, deck estimation, deviation prompts at the threshold counts.
- Reference suite: basic strategy chart with H17/S17 toggle, craps odds sorted by edge, video-poker hold priority, Hold'em pre-flop ranges, pot odds calculator.
- Advanced sims: Kelly bankroll math, Monte Carlo on betting systems (Martingale, Iron Cross), Illustrious 18 indices, variance analysis.
- Session log + trip planner so the training connects to actual casino visits, not just abstract drills.
Built around correctness
Every house-edge number you see in the app — 1.41% on craps Pass, 0.37% on Pass + 3-4-5x odds, 1.06% on baccarat Banker, 99.54% RTP on 9/6 Jacks or Better, 5.26% American roulette — is independently computable and matches the standard published references (Wizard of Odds, Schlesinger's Blackjack Attack, etc.). When we disagree with a popular source, we explain why. The strategy engine is the asset; the gamification is the wrapper.
What we won't do
- We won't promise winnings. The math doesn't support it outside narrow advantage-play windows, and we'd rather you trust a tool that's honest about variance.
- We won't sell a betting system. Martingale, Fibonacci, Iron Cross, Cancellation — they all bust at the same long-run rate as flat betting. The Advanced sims prove it.
- We won't share your data with sportsbooks, brokers, or ad networks. See our privacy policy.
Responsible play
If gambling is causing harm — financial, relational, mental — call 1-800-522-4700 (US National Council on Problem Gambling). Settings includes a weekly loss-limit alert and a self-exclusion timer. We'd rather you take a break than burn through a roll trying to apply what you learned here.
